WE have been inspired by this opening sequence to the horror film ‘Tears’:
We like the idea of someone watching the girl while she is playing on the swing we like this as it creates a creepy atmosphere. It also makes us want to know what is going to happen next.
For our opening sequence we are hoping to create something similar to this opening sequence as it has really inspired us.
We are planning to film out opening sequence in the burn valley next to Hartlepool Sixth Form College as it has a park with swings and slides.
We are planning to use lots of close ups of the slide while its swinging to make us guess what will happen next. We will also use lots of fast cuts will lots of different shots and angles of the swing and the person swinging on it so it creates tension. at the beginning we are also planning on using a lot of block shots so it looks quite creepy and mysterious and makes us know the girl is watching Kate play on the swing.
For costumes
we have got our make-up idea from this youtube video tutorial :
we are planning on this to look like the woman is dead. As shes going to be coming back from the dead.
Story line:
The story line we have got is that there is a little girl(Kate) that have just moved here and the house she has moved to is haunted at a 13 year old girl had been murdered by her own sister 25 years ago and and the house has been empty ever since. The girl is now coming back for revenge and is now following Kate around the park as she thinks this is her sister.
